meatproxy.me is the explainer and referral site for the term meat proxy: a person who forwards questions to an AI and forwards the answers back without reading, checking, or adding anything. It is a joke with a point, in the tradition of “Let Me Google That For You”. You send it to the coworker who copy-pastes ChatGPT at you.

Credit where it is due. The term was coined by Niklas Gruhn in the essay “Don't be a meat proxy”, published on 3 August 2026. This site did not invent the phrase. It gives it a definition page, a test, a referral link, a counter and a set of Slack emojis, so the phrase has somewhere to point.

Every field note in the glossary is written and edited by a person, carries a published and updated date, and links its sources. AI is used the way the site recommends: read, checked, and rewritten before anything ships.
